Veggie Tales

So, Jon has been inspired by this book I bought him the other day.

I know, doesn’t Edward look the coolest but, hey, he knows his stuff!!
So Jon with his crafty self built some planter boxes which we painted this weekend and housed four smaller plastic planter boxes which he drilled holes in.  The idea is that you save on watering by building the vegetables and flowers their own reservoir and it’s better for the plants to get access to their water anytime. 
He did a great job!!! :)
On Saturday, Jamie (a good friend of mine) and I were planning on going to the zoo to take some fun pictures with my new camera. But it was insanely busy as was the Botanical Gardens so we ended up visiting the International Exotic Feline Sanctuary. That’s right, cougars and lions and even a few bears (oh my!).
