Dam, that was fun!

After Vegas, we went and took a dam tour. And then we proceeded to say dam in front of everything. For example, “Let’s get some dam pictures!” or “Which dam tour should we go on??” and my favorite “I need to get my dam postcard for my postcard scrapbook”. Anyway, we took the dam tour and got some dam pictures and I found a great dam postcard so all is well. :) Here’s a few dam pictures: ;-)  (We can’t help it; it’s just so fun)

Now we are at the end of a restful day in Flagstaff and I just told Jon a few minutes ago that it has been one of the best days ever. We woke up and had a delicious breakfast at this amazing B&B that we’re staying at. Laurel and Richard, the innkeepers were sweet enough to call their masseuse to come to the B&B so we could get massages which was wonderful.

After that we went to downtown Flagstaff and shopped and walked around. From there, we drove up to the Arizona Snowbowl and did the Scenic Skyride which was really fun (and cold). It took us up to 11,500 ft and on a clear day you can see the Grand Canyon. Unfortunately it was not that clear but we still got some beautiful shots.

After our fun scenic skyride, we headed back down the hill, er, mountain and went back to downtown Flagstaff for some dinner. Pasto Cucina Italiana was highly recommended to us and it’s because it’s so delicious!! Really pretty inside too with an old tin ceiling and brick walls. We sat right by the front window and watched people go by and all the going-ons in the square (as well as some really bad parallel parking attempts). Now we’re back at the B&B resting and relaxing before another day on the road. Here’s a few more pics:
