Headin' West Part 1

Well, we are about 3 days into our moving trip. We enjoyed some delicious turkey at my mom’s last Thursday and headed out on the road Sunday morning.

We stayed in Albuquerque the first night at a cute B&B near Old Town. We ate dinner at this restaurant called High Noon (cue Clint Eastwood old western movie theme). The building was built in 1785 and was beautiful! They had all the Christmas decorations up including a tree on the ceiling. I’m blogging from my iPhone and I think I post pics so I’ll try and include some of those soon.

The next day, we headed into Arizona and had a late lunch in one of our favorite towns, Flagstaff, at the Beaver St Brewery. So good!!

We checked into our B&B last night and rested from the drive. The weather’s been beautiful and the drive has been nice. We had the biggest cinnamon roll this morning for breakfast. Today, we’re doing a self-guided tour to some Indian ruins and then we’ll enjoy the afternoon and sunset at the Grand Canyon. I’ll definitely be taking some pictures and will post them soon. :)
